Biography
Carrie Stone, BA, CMT, and Bay Area local, graduated from New College of CA and Blue Cliff School of Therapeutic Massage in Metairie, LA. Carrie has enjoyed a thriving massage practice since 2001, in both New Orleans and the San Francisco Bay Area. Her massage practice remains enlivened because she prioritizes educational internships, specialized instruction, and self-study. This is further fortified by her therapeutic experiences with clients and practitioners from a variety of professional disciplines, socio-economic backgrounds, and life experiences.
Carrie utilizes Thai massage sequencing for tonification and flexibility, Reiki to promote energetic balancing, deep tissue to reduce scar tissue, Swedish for relaxation, and reflexology for rejuvenation. As a practitioner, it has been Carrie's intention to create a specialized therapeutic experience for her clients so that they might feel educated and enlightened by the bodywork they are participating in. Such an education will hopefully encourage each client to think of his or her endeavors towards equilibrium as an investment in longevity.
